  • Check in every 1 or 2 weeks; it’s volunteering so don’t be too harsh but take accountability.

  • Make realistic goals, and don’t be too optimistic.

  • Expect and plan around dips in engagement during exams and end of year.

  • 2-3 commitments per person is more than enough.

  • Have contingency plans if things don’t go as expected
