CHAOS 2023 CTF Challenge

The Goal:
Find a specific fictional person’s name or ZID
The Context:
You (the CTF player) are a CSESoc project director recruiting new member for you subcom. You received a BUNCH of applications. What a mess! You can only pick one from all these but which!?
The Challenge
You got a decently long email from your co-director, in it, only one sentence matters: “Hey, you know we should find someone who likes Labrador/Crab/XXX (what ever, doesn’t matter), they would fit in well with our culture.”
On Chaos
Create a new Campaign specifically for this event, with a role like “CHAOS BE/FE Dev”. One of the questions for this role will be something asking what they like (as above).
A CSV of ALL the respondents
There is a column with answers for what they like, but because it’s csv on excel, it a really long column, so hard for people to scan through. They have to scan the rows to find the person that said they like the thing the co-director wanted. The name/zID of that respondent is the CTF flag. Misspell the liked item, so they can’t shortcut and use Ctrl+F.
After Completion
We explain to them why searching through the CSV was difficult, and explain how CHAOS can simplify it.
