UI Redesign with UI/UX directors

UI Redesign with UI/UX directors

Specifics:

1. Are you happy to continue with your current colour scheme and let us modify it if needed?

(Gordon) Structs is happy for you to play around and help us choose a new colour scheme

(Edward) yee same here

(Luke) ^

2. Do you want specific colours? (please give a colour palette/specifics if you choose this)

(Gordon) What’s the best way to test out and choose a colour palette?

(Edward) might want to consider ones that match colour themes for code editors (grey for dark mode coders)

(Luke) maybe we can make it customisable to match the code editor theme, so there’s no specific colour palette users have to go with (but good to talk about defaults)

Vibe:

3. What style/vibe would you like (modern/elegant/cute)?

(Gordon) Simple yet aesthetic, vibrant, colourful without being too overwhelming (2 colours max, with lots of variation in lightness & saturation)

(Edward) Simple, modern and clean
(Luke) ^, also could take inspiration from modern editors like VS code

4. Please provide example images/references/links of websites that have this style (feel free to give as many as you'd like).

Component Library:

5. We can only make a limited number of features this year, so please list the components you would use the most/are most necessary to your project apart from buttons, links and cards.

(Edward) Can’t think of anything else besides text fields
(Luke) tabs, file tree, progress bar

General Qs:

6. Complete this question only if you want us to redesign your project this year. This also means that you're willing to code up a new frontend according to the design. [Optional]
Do you have a specific timeline in mind (how long are you willing to wait for us to complete the redesign - we can do page by page at a time, how are you planning to re-code the frontend)?

7. Are you planning to collaborate on any designs with other projects (potential feature merges)?

8. Do you have any other comments? [Optional]

9. Do you have any fonts you'd like to see apart from those listed below in PART II? [Optional]
