24T2 Week 1

• Everyone almost done with previous tickets - gave them an idea of whats next.

• Ray and I were planning to have the following tasks:

  • ability to add+remove friends

    • with this we need interface to view list of friends

  • interface to allow users to view friends timetables (without being able to edit on it)

    • ability to set specific timetables as private/public => how do we choose which one can be displayed to friends

  • interface to display friend groups

  • Implement termly calendar view (similar to myunsw → will help in future when we allow users to schedule events with friends)

• Will be allocating the above within the next 1-2 weeks after everyone has finished their current tickets

Expanded Search Bar - Nikki + Chanel

• Functionality basically done

  • Just needs minor FE redesign

• Spent 15-30 minutes during meeting to cook the scraper to give us faculty data

• now everything should be set just final touches + merging in scraper PR

BE Testing - Michael + Sohum

• Sohum was originally working on tailwind rewrite with Jordan however we’ve decided to come back to this task later on - more important that we start working on social timetabling features!!

• For the next week we will have Michael and Sohum finalising the new BE and test the functionality to make sure everything is legit

• Writing documentation for the created endpoints

Friend Groups - Jasmine

• Jasmine added the functionality to add friend groups (through a modal)

• Working with Ray to connect this to the BE

Sidebar - Lucy

• cooked hard with the sidebar

• had a few bugs but worked with Shaam to fix

• basically done with this, just need to look at Shaam’s branch and merge changes
