24T2 Week 3

Last Weeks progress:

Michael

• wrote tests for database

• also might be concerned with validation at some endpoints (eg. deleting a timetable only requires a timetableID) → could be vulnerable to XSS or just changing the URL with a random timetableID leads to unexpected behaviour

  • similarly need clarification on intended behaviour of some endpoints - just some error handling things (for example, unfriending someone who isnt a friend - should we return an error or not?)

Nikki + Chanel

• fixed up comments on pr + bug we found today

• Ray to review tonight then we merge

Lucy

• added log in/log out onto side bar

• updated the ui of dialog and made pr

• wants to fix some things in the sidebar:

  • refine login/logout side bar UI

  • handle pressing on collapsed term selector to open

Future tickets:

• Nikki + Jasmine intro to new ticket

  • integrating Lucy’s branch

  • displaying friend groups

  • removing friend groups

  • have a view of all the groups

  • kick people out of groups

  • promoting ppl in groups

• Sohum (+Michael after he is done with BE)

  • expanded calendar view → sohum will get started cooking this (we still need to brainstorm how this will work ), then Michael will hop on after BE thingies

• Chanel + Lucy

  • intro to new ticket

  • adding friends

TODOS:

• get everyone setup for new tickets

  • brainstorm sub features / draft user stories to get better understanding of tasks
